Today is all about the arrival of new babies, so I decided to use the Baby Bear Stamp Set. Isn’t this little bear the cutest! I just love him.
A couple of my friends kids just had babies, so I made a couple cards to welcome their new arrivals.
The bear is a 3 step stamp, and the colors I used to create him are: Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede. I stamped with the lightest color first, and the darkest color last. The bow is a 2 step stamp and again stamp light to dark. The card base and layers are Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Melon Mambo, Powder Pink and Whisper White. The inks are Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Melon Mambo, Powder Pink and Versamark.
The greeting on the front of each card is from the Baby Bear Stamp Set and the diaper pin is from the Better Together set. The diaper pin was stamped with Versamark on the front of the cards but on the inside, I used Night of Navy on one and Melon Mambo on the other.
The sentiments inside the cards are from the Baby Bear and the Better Together stamp sets. Better Together is an awesome stamp set with really great sentiments that you can use for many occasions. I’ve used it a lot and it’s one of faves. I’m so glad it carried over to the new catalog. Check it out! I think you’ll like it too.
