Hope everyone had a nice weekend. I’m very fortunate to be in the northeast and did not feel any effects of the hurricane. However, my thoughts and prayers are with those that were affected by hurricane Florence. Praying that family and friends are all safe.
I’m doing something a little different this week. I am not the creator of the cards that I’m going to feature. The cards this week were created by my awesome talented team. When a new catalog launches, my team does a card swap with cards made from products in the new catalog. The cards that I will be featuring today will be from products in the 2018 Holiday Catalog.
Todays card was created by my teammate Dawn Robles, and it is from the Festive Farmhouse Suite. The Farmhouse Christmas Stamp Set consists of 11 photopolymer stamps and the Farmhouse Framelits Dies consists of 11 dies. This is a card I’m sure everyone would have a big smile on their face if they were to get this in the mail. How about the pick up truck with the tree and the wreath? Isn’t it the cutest? And, how about that awesome fence? This is a fun bundle to create with and one I must have in my collection.
Dawn did an awesome job sponging the sky. I believe she used pool party but I’m not 100% sure. She also did a very nice job coloring the house, truck, tree and wreath with the Stampin’ Blends. What I like about the Stampin’ Blends is, the ink goes on nice and smooth with no streaking so you get a professional look.
Did you notice the Merry Christmas stitched banner. I bet you’re thinking it needs to be cut out by hand. Well here’s some good news! There is a die in the set of framelits that cuts out the stitched banner and there is another banner in the set as well along with a die for the tree, pick up truck w/tree, wreath, house and fence. We can’t forget the lovely Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper that has some warm cozy plaids and patterns for the holidays and more. How cool is that!?!
The festive farmhouse suite is absolutely beautiful and a must have for creating those Christmas cards. If you have the holiday catalog, the suite is on page 13. If you don’t have a catalog and would like one, let me know and I’ll get one out to you.
