Here are more beautiful products from the Occasions Catalog.
Today, I’m featuring a couple of cards from the Wonderful Romance Suite that includes the Wonderful Romance Stamp Set, coordinating Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies along with the beautiful Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper, Frosted Floral Embellishments and the gorgeous delicate Petal Pink/Whisper White 5/8″ Variegated Ribbon.
Both cards are the same with the exception of the greetings/sentiments and the pink cardstock. The first card was made with Blushing Bride cardstock and the greeting/sentiment are from the Wonderful Romance Stamp Set.
Both the greeting /sentiment were stamped with Mossy Meadow Classic Ink. The flowers on the inside were stamped with Fresh Fig Classic Ink.
Here’s the card made with the Petal Pink Cardstock and the greeting is from the Detailed with Love Stamp Set and sentiment on the inside is from the Picture Perfect Stamp Set. Isn’t the leaf trellis beautiful that I cut from the Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies? The label was also cut from the Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies and popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The little Fresh Fig flower is from the Frosted Floral Embellishments. The sheet of designer series paper happens to be vellum, so the Soft Sea Foam cardstock shows through the transparency of the vellum. How cool is that!
The Floral Romance Special Designer Series Paper is absolutely gorgeous and I just love it. It has a total of 12 sheets; 6 vellum sheets, 3 each of 2 single-sided designs, and 6 printed sheets – 3 each of 2 double-sided designs.
When working with vellum, you want to make sure the adhesive doesn’t show. Here’s what you do. Squeeze out some multipurpose liquid glue onto your silicone craft mat and with a wedge of sponge, dab the glue and sponge it onto the back of your vellum and then adhere it to the cardstock. When your done, make sure you wash your silicone mat with soap and water, and it will look like you never put glue on it. You can also use vellum adhesive if you have it.
The sentiment is stamped with Mossy Meadow Classic Ink and is from the Picture Perfect Stamp Set. The small flowers are from the Wonderful Romance Stamp Set and stamped with Fresh Fig Classic Ink.
Mossy Meadow Card Base – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″

I’m very pleased with the way these cards turned out even though they are both slightly different. Can you see the difference? Other than the color of the pink cardstock, there is a slight difference between the two. Ok, I’ll tell you.
The blushing bride card has the DSP/Soft Sea Foam Layer to the edge of the blushing bride layer and the ribbon is folded slightly different.
On the petal pink card, I left a 1/8″ petal pink boarder on the left side.
Now, here’s my question to all of you. What color pink do you like on this card – Blushing Bride or Petal Pink? View this post through your browser mnand scroll down to the comment section and let me know what color pink you like best on this card.
