Hello Friends!
It’s masculine Monday, so I thought I would feature a birthday card made from the Geared Up Garage Stamp Set and Garage Gears Thinlits.  Actually, I made this card for my team challenge and thought it would be appropriate to also share it with you.
The stamp set, thinlits and the Classic Garage 6″ x 6″ Desinger Series Paper has so many possibilities for masculine cards.  Also, I suggest you mix and match the designer series paper from the pack as I did on this card.  It all works well together.  Check out the entire suite called Classic Garage on page 42 -43 in the Occasions Catalog.  If you make masculine cards, then this suite is a must have in your collection.
I made this card into a fun fold card and used Basic Gray as my base.  As I mentioned I used two different patterns on this card and I think you’ll agree, it works very well together.  Generally, we wouldn’t think to put two different patterns together but Stampin’ UP! has designers that  create patterns that will work together and they do a very nice job of it.  This way, you get to use more of your designer series paper (DSP) instead of hoarding it.
Because this is a fun fold card, make sure when you adhere the top layer onto your card, only add adhesive to half of the layer so you can open the card.
I used the Black Foil Sheets to cut out the stitched oval from the Stitched Shapes Ovals Framelits and adhered it flat onto the DSP layer with multipurpose adhesive glue.
The car was stamped on Real Red cardstock with Tuxedo Memento Black Ink and popped up with stampin’ dimensionals onto the black stitched foil oval.

The sentiment is also from the Geared Up Garage stamp set but the Happy Birthday is from the Perennial Birthday stamp set.  The gears were cut out with the Black Foil Sheets from the Garage Geared Thinlits and also adhered with multipurpose adhesive glue.
Basic Gray Card Base – 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″
Real Red Layers – 2 5/8″ x 4 1/8″ ;  3″ x 4″  and 4″ x 5 1/4″
Classic Garage 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Layers – 2 1/2″ x 4″ and 2 13/16″ x 3 13/16″
Whisper White Inside Layer p- 3 3/4″ x 5″
Black Foil Sheets for Stitched Oval and Gears – 2 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Real Red to stamp the car and to cut out – 1 3/4″ x 4″
This was a fun card to make and not only did I make it for my team challenge but also made a couple more to have on hand for the masculine birthdays I have coming up.   I really like this card and this suite of products and hope you do too.  Don’t forget to check out the Classic Garage Suite of products on page 42-43 in the Occasions Catalog.
