It sure does feel good to be back to stamping and blogging. I was quite bored for a while with my knee surgery but I’m on the mend and it feels good. I wanted to create something cute and cheerful so I chose the mama panda and her baby from the Wildly Happy stamp set. Aren’t they the cutest?
The pandas were stamped with Tuxedo memento black in and colored with the light basic black stampin’ blend. I also used the light smoky slate stampin’ blend for the bottom of the mama pandas feet and nails.
The card base is old olive and I used the fern from the Painted Harvest stamp set and created the background with old olive ink. I used one of the Stitched Nested Labels Dies for the basic black layer and the crushed curry scalloped circle is from the Layering Circles Dies as is the plain circle that I cut out the pandas. The only think I popped up on dimensionals is the white circle with the pandas. To dress it up a bit, I used the Noble Peacock Rhinestones which match perfectly.
Inside, I just added a thin layer of crushed curry cardstock under the white layer. I added a couple of fern to coordinate with the front of the card and stamped the sentiment from the Wildly Happy stamp set in Tuxedo Memento black ink.

I just love this stamp set with all the mamas and their babies and I loved creating this card. The images in this set are adorable and I will be making more cards with some of the other images.
